Serve Denton partners with nonprofits to help make their services more accessible for people in need.
Our vision is to fill the rungs of our self-sufficiency ladder by having a nonprofit address each one of these areas of need. That way when someone needs help, they only need to go to one location to receive a variety of services.
Nonprofits spend countless hours each year raising enough money to fulfill their mission and keep their doors open. What if they no longer had to worry about paying rent and could share utilities with a dozen or so organizations in the same building?
We develop property projects in Denton, like The Wheeler House and the Serve Denton Center where nonprofits pay significantly lower rent compared to commercial office space and share costs, sending more of the dollars our community gives straight to the people who need it most.
These projects help improve collaboration among nonprofits, show people in our community where they can get involved, expand our community resources, and create opportunities for many people in need to become self-sufficient when they find the help they need all in one place.
We are the largest nonprofit center in Denton County!
Serve Denton is a 501(c)(3) community-based organization.
