The Wheeler House is a place where both healthcare and housing needs can be met.

Serve Denton created a space where agencies provide family housing, street outreach, and clinic services at a convenient downtown Denton location. Giving Hope, Inc. manages the transitional housing and Health Services of North Texas manages the affordable health clinic.

The Wheeler House opened in July 2015, and 79 moms and children have now transitioned into permanent housing. More than 1,600 people have been served at the downtown health clinic.

The Wheeler House gave me an arm to grab onto, a hand to hold onto, when in my mind, I knew of nothing else or no one else who could help us.
— Fifi Rose, Wheeler House Mom of 5
For anyone that doesn’t believe that God always finds a way! I lost all hope until I found the Wheeler House! Thank you, Giving Hope and Serve Denton.

How You Can Help!

We desire for every family who moves into The Wheeler House to have new sheets, bedspreads and pillows they can take with them to their new home when they move into permanent housing!

You can donate these items and bring them to our office at 306 N Loop 288, Denton, TX, or donate money toward The Wheeler House. There are twin and full-size mattresses in each family room.
