Little Guys Movers Names Children's Therapy Room

Little Guys Movers has partnered with Serve Denton to name a children’s therapy room for $25,000 in Children’s Advocacy Center for Denton County’s new facility at the Serve Denton Center.

This facility will house 15 therapy rooms, 5 investigation rooms, and offices for the Sherriff’s Office, the District Attorney, Child Protectives Services, as well as the main offices for Children’s Advocacy Center for Denton County.

Founder of Little Guys Movers Marcus Watson said, “We love helping out the Little Guys and—in our minds—they are the children. Every service provided by Serve Denton either directly or indirectly helps children in need, so it is a perfect fit!”

Their commitment will allow children in Denton County to receive therapy after experiencing abuse and begin the path to healing.

Capital Campaign

Little Guys Movers’ commitment will go toward Serve Denton’s capital campaign that will help fund the development of all phases of the Serve Denton Center.

These phases include a state-of-the-art health center and pharmacy for Health Services of North Texas, a center for Children’s Advocacy Center for Denton County that will allow their organization to co-locate with law enforcement and be located steps away from a health center, and a 10,500 sq ft custom-built food center for Denton Community Food Center. Serve Denton expects its partners to serve over 16,000 people in Denton County in its first year of full occupancy.

The Serve Denton Capital Campaign will help bring even more direct services to one location.
