1 in 6 children (about 15%) in the U.S. has a developmental disability. It’s important that the parents of these children have the support they need and that the children have a way to develop and cope in spite of their delay.

Their organization will assist income-qualified customers with utility assistance and weatherization services as well as work to coordinate with other agencies housed within Serve Denton.
We are so excited to welcome Giving Hope, Inc. to the Serve Denton Center as our newest nonprofit partner! Serve Denton currently partners with Giving Hope, Inc. at The Wheeler House where their organization manages the transitional housing facility for moms and their kids. Since 2015, more than 100 mom and kids have transitioned out of a housing crisis into permanent housing because of this program.

Since 1980, Denton County Friends of the Family (DCFOF) has provided compassionate and comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, while partnering with the community to promote safety, hope, healing, justice and prevention. All victim services are free of charge.
We are so excited to officially welcome Health Services of North Texas, Denton Community Food Center and Children’s Advocacy Center for Denton County to the Serve Denton Center!
All three nonprofits signed long-term lease agreements this summer, which means construction on these projects will begin Fall 2018. They are projected to be finished by Spring 2019.
One of our partners at the Serve Denton Center, Community Services, Inc. was recently asking herself "How can I better serve my clients who are in need of food?"
Community Services, Inc. is already partnering with community gardens in Denton and Hunt Counties to provide additional food for their clients.
We are so excited to welcome My Health My Resources - Early Childhood Services to the Serve Denton Center as our newest partner agency!
They will provide Early Childhood Intervention for children ages birth to 36 months-old who have developmental delays and disabilities as well as in-home support services for children ages 0–6 years-old through their HOPES program.
