Mental Health First Aid is an evidence-based, public education program that introduces participants to risk factors and warning signs of mental illnesses, builds understanding of their impact, and identifies common supports. The topics covered include depression, suicide, self-harm, anxiety, panic, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and substance abuse. This course teaches a five-step action plan to assist someone who may be experiencing a mental health crisis.

There is a $25 fee, which covers the cost of the participant manual. Fees will be accepted the day of the training (cash or check only, please).
